  1. We stayed in 18024 in January, The cabin is huge the sofa bed can be open and you still can walk between the bed and the open sofa bed. They are on opposite walls. The bath room is very large with the necessary feature. The balcony is also very large it is over the Royal suite and almost as big. We has three lounge chairs and small table and two chair there was room for more. Plenty of closet space with hanging rods that pull down. large tv all in all it is the nicest cabin I have bee in. We stayed in the two bed room aft suite on RCCL Liberty of the sea and like this better. The location is great two, one deck up and your at the pool, maybe 50 steps away including the stair. Right down the hall is the dinning room again maybe 50 steps I think you will love it. Sorry no pictures but let me know if there is something I can tell you that I have not mentioned. Wish we were there now.

  2. Sidari,

Thanks for the heads up! I looked and that is an inside YC handicapped cabin, I was looking for a balcony YC handicapped cabin photo or video.

I'll keep checking back, Thank to everyone for all the information. We will be there January 20th!

  3. Does anyone know how room service works in the Yacht club? Is it the same menu as the rest of the ship. Is it like RCCL where you can order form the main dining room menu? Can you order from the Yacht Club restaurant and have it delivered to your room? Basically is a step up from the normal room service?

Any info on the food in the Yacht Club would be appreciated. Sailing on the Seaside in January!

    Thank you

  4. I am not sure the Aurea experience already comes with free drinks and a spa perk, priority boarding etc. I guess some kind of on board credit.

I know that on the Divina the front suites have access to the yacht club maybe that would be an option.

All I know is the suite is the same price as a yacht club balcony cabin, It is almost the most expensive cabin on the ship so the benefit is supposed to be the two bed and baths that you get instead of the yacht club perks.

I have reached out to MSC corporate and will let you know what the end result is. I emailed Diego Aponte directly.

If more people reach out to him maybe we can effect change.

  5. Hello all,

So we booked Aurea grand suite 11003 last November 2016 after being told it was two bedroom. At the time 11001 was available but I thought the larger balcony of the port side cabin would be better. As it now turns out the suite 11003 is only one bedroom and one bath not two.

MSC and my TA both confirmed multiple times that it was two bed 2 bath suite. I reached out to MSC and they offered nothing in the form of compensation or any additional perks for the mix up (their misinformation).

Seems like this has been a running issue for other after reading many posts. Has anyone been offered anything for finding themselves in the same position?

Just seems like MSC should do something, can't get Yacht Club they are all sold out for this sailing also. Already have air and hotels so I really don't want to cancel.

Any help or ideas would appreciated.

  6. That's my problem! We have 2 couples for the Grand Suite #11003. Specifically chose that because we were reassured that it was 2-bed/2-bath. If this is the case, then they should accommodate us in separate Aurea Suites or Balconies for the price we were initially going to pay. What do you think?

I am also booked in 11003 and have been told it is two bed room did you ever ind out what it is.

  7. Hello all, I am going on the seaside this January and am looking for info on the ship. I have read that the is a deck 20? Also that there is a 10 page fact sheet on the ship that is normally for the media. If anyone has any links or additional information I would greatly appreciate it.

Not sure how everything on CC works but I have been following the MCS info for some time now. I have seen many things talk about but not sure how to get to the info.

    Thanks for any help, dmccadden

  8. I would love the 10 page sheet, i a cruise on seaside in January cabin 11003 and it hard to fine proper info on the lay out also booked in the yacht clubs October 2018 any additional info work truly be appreciate :) Dmccadde @rochester.rr.com thank you so much in advance

  9. Does anyone know where the aurea private sundeck is on the Seaside? Also is there a deck 19, I don't see the "ONE pool" on the deck plans. We are booked in a SE3 Aurea Suite, dose anyone know if we will have access to the ONE pool?

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

  10. You say that you are booked, in which category are you booked?

If you are booked in a Grand Suite it must be okay. If you are not booked in a Grand Suite, are you sure that they are still available?

I tried to make a fake booking to see if it was possible to book it for two but they were sold out on every date I tried so I gave up!

Not sure about availability but we booked last November suite 11003is a grand suit look at the deck plans it is forward deck eleven

  11. My two sisters and I are booked on MSC Seaside in January 2018. We want a Grand suite with two rooms but my travel agent says that she was told by MSC that you have to have 5 people to get one of those suites? Everything I have read says "Up to" 5 guests. Does anyone have any knowledge of this issue?

Wears booked in suite11003 grand suit on the 20th of January and only have three people in the two bedroom suite. I think you agent is wrong
