Thanks for the quick replies:cool:

Does anyone know if Liberty of the Seas has it's muster outside if it's raining? The forecast is for thunderstorms the day we embark which is already a bummer but the thought of standing outside in the rain during muster is not giving me that party feeling I was hoping for.

Has anyone played White Witch Golf Course in Jamaica? If so did you have time to get to and from the ship after playing 18 holes? Any recommendations and comments about playing here?
Is there anyone playing 4/19/18 from the Liberty of the Seas?

We are porting in Falmouth Jamaica and plan to play golf at White Witch. We need transportation to the course since it isn't listed as an excursion. It is better to book ahead or wait until we get to the dock and get a cab? Which one has a better rate?
My DH is planning to also play White Witch in April. How was your experience getting there and back to the ship? Was there plenty of time to play 18 holes? What was the condition of the course? Was it worth it?

Has anyone played golf in Jamaica? If so how long did it take to disembark the ship once in port? My DH wants to play the White Witch Golf course but I can't find any posts about it. We are looking for info on how did you get there and back? Also is there anyone on the 4/15/18 Liberty sailing that is also playing this course? If so we can meet up and share a ride to the course.

We are on the Liberty of the Seas Western Caribbean 4/15/18 and would like to know when are the formal nights and which night do they serve lobster in the main dinning room.
Thanks:cool:

Carnival's food did not start to get bad until the last few years. I have sailed with them from the 4 day Baja , Mexico to the 14 day Panama Canal with very good food including the old midnight buffet/s with food and ice carvings displayed and eaten in the MD. Cruising used to be know for it's abundance of good food. Not sure what happened but sure miss the good ole days.

How was the food on the Dream? We mostly eat in the dinning room but we have been disappointed as of late with slow service and cold food on our last 3 Carnival sailings. We have high hopes for The Dream.

Thanks to everyone that took the time to reply. We went to the dollar store and purchased ponchos for any rain, and selected our official sweatshirt and last but not least we are taking no chances and stocking up on sea sickness remedies (we have never needed it before but this is a smaller ship than we have sailed on in possible rough seas).
I think I'm covered, but what do you think?

We have never cruised during winter. What should we pack for a Carnival Inspiration Baja cruise. Do we still need shorts and T's , tanks and swim suits? California winter is tricky and not sure about Ensinada.
-
Can I use these cards to pay for my liquor bill or photos at the end of the cruise?
-
I would like to get the carnival countdown clock. Where can i get it if you don't mind me asking.
Thanks kindly in advance.

This was a very good question so why the name calling and personal attacks?
We share a common interest in cruising and this seems to be a good place for answers. Is it necessary to be nasty? :(

Thank You for your help:)

May I ask if You had to carry your food on trays or plates from one location to another looking for a place to sit what did you do with your carry on luggage?
There will be 4 of us seniors with carry on pieces and it would help if we had a plan.
Thanks again

Thanks Bob! Do we have a chance at getting a seat in one of these eateries if we are not one of the first people on board?
-
Is there somewhere beside the windjammer on Liberty to have lunch on embarkation?
It will be chaos if everyone on board is fighting for a table at the same time.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

We are driving to Galveston departing on RRCL. Are their any hotels that offer parking while you sail. This is our first time sailing out of Galveston and we could sure use the help CC provides.
Thanks:)

Thanks Chris,
Your response was quick and very much appreciated. I'm still a little over a month out but I'm ready to start packing already. Hope the person(s) that needed medical attention pulls through.
Enjoy the rest of your trip!!
Take care of my ship for me:D -
Chris your pictures are great. My DD and DH and I will be at Mayho beach in June. Just wandering what time you left the ship and what is a good time to head back to the ship? I hear the rush hour traffic and a bridge that unpredictably stops traffic can turn a leisurely beach day into a hair puller trying to get back on ship on time. I also saw that folks were sitting in chairs and had umbrellas on the beach. Do they have to be reserved? Do you rent that setup from some bar? And the last question is about what time did the larger planes start coming in?:D
Gettin Ready to do the countdown dance! -
Thanks you everyone who responded. May I ask again if anyone that was able to get phones if they can recall the Dead Zones. I can request my DD be in a good reception zone when I need to meet up with her.
-
Thanks so very much for answers to my questions. This seems to be making RCCL money since they are turning away families in line for the phones. Seems like they would reinvest in their product and let families know in advance where the Dead Zones are up front to save on the frustration. Do you remember where some of the Dead Zones are located?
-
Thanks Sue. our DD has been on 5 cruises but never on a ship this size.
Did you post your DD's picture on the thread or just her description for followers to go by? I would like to know where those teen only locations I mentioned are located. The ship is so large I'm not sure where to get the
phones on the ship and maybe someone can share their experience with me.
It seems like an added layer of protection. DD follows our rules but girls in swimsuits walking down halls passing guys that have been drinking can keep a mother from relaxing.
Thanks again.
