If you have had both doses, do you need to print both copies or or only the second one that says you have had your second dose?

Thanks for the information. I did not realize that there were different forms to print. The one with the water mark I presume is more official.

I plan on bringing both but will only show the 2nd that shows I'm fully vaccinated with 2 doses and the date. If they require both they no problem I'll then show the first one as well.

I was told by Carnival to go to this website Ontario COVID-19 vaccination service (ontariohealth.ca) and obtain my official 2nd dose (fully vaccinated) print out.  I was told specifically to get this one that has the 'watermark' that is available on this site.

Thank you very much for this information, we plan on doing B2B in September and are trying to line up everything we need.

I'm not sure which is more likely to come about, acceptance of Antigen tests or waiving the test requirement for fully vaccinated travellers returning to Canada. Hopefully, July 21 will see some significant changes, and if not then, August 21.

In the mean time, you might want to do some preliminary research on test locations at your debarkation port and have tentative plans on staying a night there before flying home.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could come back and post what was needed and the process to get back into Canada.

We are booked B2B on Oasis of the Seas September 5th and 12th. 2021. We are planning on driving to Bayonne NJ. Maybe stay a couple days pre cruise in NYC. If we decide to fly, can I ask where are you getting your test done in Ottawa pre cruise flight?

My wife will need to get back to work within a day or two following the cruise so it is important that we get a PCR test before we travel back. If Royal will not provide them I'll need to find a place in NJ to get that done on a Sunday? Doesn't sound too promising. That may be the reason we will have to cancel and take the CWC offer 😞 This is our 27th Anniversary trip and first time in a Suite so really wish all goes to planned.

Fingers crossed testing requirement for fully vaccinated to travel back to Canada goes away by September but I really don't think that will happen...

Hi...was wondering if anyone has stayed in an "Oasis" class Boardwalk Interior cabin??  I was wondering if there is a chair/couch as in the "Central Park Interior"s  by the window, or if it is just the big "porthole" with no built in couch

    thanks in advance

Sorry this may be too late, but I stayed in Oasis of the Seas Boardwalk View Cabin 7717. It did have a couch but nothing by the Window. Check out my photos: Link to cabin 7717 photos

Well I can say is is congrats to those that have been able to get the 2nd shot early. Mine is booked for August 16th, first was April 26th. I'm not eligible yet to try for advancing and have heard horror stories for those that have tried, bookings were no where near their location, and they lost their original booking.

A&L--I'm in Ottawa, that was (and still somewhat is) a hot spot, over 65 and can't get my 2nd as fast as you and Lisa did! I'm jealous 🙂

For all my fellow Canadians -- as a grocery store/self-scan worker during all this I give you my heartfelt thanks for your social distancing/mask wearing and getting the jab!

I got an appointment for my wife's second shot, but have to drive to Casselman from Stittsville. I don't mind the hour drive to get her fully vaccinated. I have to wait until the first week on July to book my second.

  6. We are booked B2B on Oasis from NJ Sept. 5th and 12th. Really hope this goes. If not, I may have to look at Symphony or Odyssey from FL.

I did get some random survey from Royal today which asked a bunch of question like what am I most looking forward to on my upcoming cruise...do i expect any health protocols to onboard my cruise... am I vaccinated... what do i think of Royal's Health protocols and so on, really wish I would have thought to take screenshots when i was doing it..

Same here we are set to sail on Oasis in September and have paid in full too.    Hoping they start test sailings for Oasis in July or August.      I imagine they want to see how the test and other summer sailings go in Florida and TX before they commit to other US ports.    Fingers and toes crossed they go well so we can enjoy sailing out of Bayonne.

We're booked B2B On Oasis, September 5th and 12th. Fiingers crossed we really need this.

Amazing photos and videos!  Those are way superior than those of the average shutterbug like me.  It was great to relive some of my past and looking forward to the cruises on my bucket list.  I have had my eye on the MSC Seaside for quite some time and watching your video sealed the deal.  I love the layout of your cabin -- couldn't tell if it was #10075?  Were you able to get the RCI equivalent status -- I think it's a one time deal? Seaside is calling my name!

Thank you for the kind words. Nice to see you browsed all photos and videos, there are lots. Yes the Seaside cabin was 10075. We did status match but I cannot remember if I matched Royal or NCL. But yes I think status match is a one time deal.

We are considering an AI in Cuba for a couple of weeks in Feb. The one we have our eye on is adults only, and with a policy of reduced capacity.  Since we would likely fly business class, we consider the flight risk acceptable. It all depends on how the COVID situation looks in Cuba later in the year.

Yes, we are thinking of doing the same. But only if the 14 day quarantine once we return is lifted, we'll see how things unfold in the next few months.
