Not completely for us. Is it a game changer then YES IT IS. But we are not just looking to book this ship or waiting for the Star to come out as we will continue to cruise on other ships in the fleet. In fact we are looking at an Indy TA for next Oct. I certainly understand his statement as it can spoil one but I am to the point where there seems to be nothing RC does, as far as their ships are concerned, that surprises me any longer.

1400 WAS the go to bar. Bartenders were top notch and loads of fun.

Trixie, Thank You for the kind words. Some times people form an original opinion and never deviate from said opinion, I know I did but I said "you know its only 7 days and its new so what the heck lets give it a spin". Best decision we have made in cruising. So give it a try and see what happens. Most of us are creatures of habit by staying with something tried and true and rarely changing course. This may be one time we break away from our "comfort zone" and fly. Any way whatever you decide to do best of cruising!!!!!!

This is not Disney. This is a multigenerational cruise. If you are a teenager and do not want to see adults you can and conversely if you are an adult or even a seasoned citizen and do not want to see kids you can. Our thought process was the same as yours but we went with an open mind and it has been changed.

We walked right off and didn’t use help. Facial recognition is walk right through and your out. Everything outside seemed to moving freely.

As this cruise comes to a close I want to say a huge Thank You to some absolutely outstanding posters for without whom I could never have done this. First @Ozark_Kid for guiding and coaching me on converting, uploading and downloading video. We practiced for a month leading up to this week. Who could have imagined that this has led to a life time friendship so Thank You John. Next would be @FromSea2ShiningSea what a wonderful person always with just the right amount of info or counsel she was always including us in activities. Thank you Helen. Then @ReneeFLL covered the food porn with the right amount of spice. Also gave us a glimpse into the suite life. Thank You Renee. Then of course much kudos to the man behind the curtain @Ourusualbeach without whom this would never had happened. The best TA we have ever had. Thanks Ken. So as we sail to Miami I must also give thanks to all who commented, gave a thumbs up, or just loved what was posted Thank You. @cruisinghawg

I am going to do a review when I get home that will include all my observations and a few opinions. This will be apart of that as we love Oasis class so should be interesting.

The long and short answer is no. The pods seat about4 maybe 6 and there are only 3 I believe. Just taking away some history is never a good thing. Just my opinion

Well I guess I missed that as I have been on the Odyssey several times.

Sitting here at Coco Cay looking at the Mariner berthed next us a was suddenly stricken by the departure RC has made with the launch of the Icon. Gone is the one feature that set a RC ship apart from the other lines, the Viking Crown is no more. Since it’s beginning the Viking Crown was the major external focal point of this cruise line now it seems just the color scheme is all that is left. Nostalgia over comes me this morning.
