Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. This was an official yellow taxi. I checked all the licenses before I even entered. The driver automatically used the meter but I did ask out of curiosity. He said he could use a set price, but it was to my benefit to use the meter. Just letting you know my experience.
  2. There were a TON of taxi's waiting right across from the pier. You can pay a set price or let them run the meter. We chose the meter since it was a Saturday morning and traffic was light (in NYC terms). There were 4 of us with luggage and we had no issues.
  3. This will be my 9th Disney cruise, mostly with all adults or adult children and have always started in the Royal Palace (reminds me of a Main Dining Room). When we asked our wait staff if there was a rhyme or reason for the order of progression, he said that Disney tries hard to keep adults together. But, as you pointed out, this must be impossible with the amount of passengers sailing daily, so it must have been a crazy coincidence that we always started there! Thanks for the info about the 4 night cruise!
  4. Does anyone know the rotation dining order for the current sailings? In other words, years ago (pre Covid) you could pretty well bet that if you were traveling with all adults you would start your rotation in the Main Dining room, then Animators Palate, etc. We are traveling with a two year old so most likely the rotation will be different. Just curious if anyone has traveled with a two year old and what was their order of restaurants? Trying to book a night in Palo! TIA!!
  5. Thanks! I was going to use them a couple of times in the next few months. I feel better about this. I have just been an Uber gal so thought I would give them a try!
  6. I was reading the Carmel website and they state that if you are more than 15 minutes late, you will have to pay my the minute. Has anyone ever experienced a flight delay that may cause them to start the "clock running" when it is not your fault?
  7. We will also be on that sailing. Mom, Dad, 2yo son, Grandma and Aunt. Looking forward to it. Busy trying to find flights home.
  8. Rome In Limo is by far the best! They will take you to off the beaten track as well as the usual stops. I have recommended them to many and EVERYONE has come back raving about their tour in Rome. I can’t say enough positives about this company!!
  9. My daughter and son in law just returned from Rome where they used Rome in Limo to tour the wonderful city. They came back raving on how wonderful their tour was. They accommodated special requests and visited areas of Rome that the "usual" tour companies would never visit. Piero, their tour guide, showed them the sights as a native could only do. As a family, we have been using and recommending Rome in Limo for years and will continue to do so for years to come. They are an A+ company that will guarantee to leaving you wanting to go back to Rome!
