Is the roof closed all the time in the Solarium, or would it be open when doing caribbean sailings? Also, if it's closed do they heat the water?
-
I was going to put a luggage lock on my backpack and hook it to something with a bike chain. I decided not to bring it, but I'm sure it would've worked. Just make sure you don't lock it to something that can be taken apart like a wooden picnic table. The only beach we went to was Maegen's Bay in St. Thomas and lifeguard said it was a safe beach, but if worried we could leave it with him. If I went somewhere else I would be sure to bring the locks. The waterproof pouches work great, but I have a big camera.

Adventure of the Seas does have a parade

Laurie, Did you feel a lot of motion in the panoromic oceanview cabin?
-
Go all the way to right outside the clamshell area. If things changed since construction, that was a very quiet area

That's the cruise that's on my bucket list. I've looked at Carnival and can't stand their iternaries. They hardly spend any time in port. I've been on Adventure and loved it

It only looks large on the map. Not sure where everything is now with the construction. My husband and I enjoyed being next to the chairs you were talking about. There's plenty of shade wherever you go. That area didn't have any rocks and it was very shallow.

Can you wait til 2020? Freedom is supposed to be getting the slides etc. from what I understand. I'm going to be looking after the refurbishment.
-
I wore my water shoes on the big slides, so I don't know why not

You should tell RC to rent a beach, shuttle people there and have a BBQ lunch then it might be somewhat equal.

I was in St. Maartin in Feb. and many stores were open plus the open marketplace. I don't understand recent posts that only high priced jewlery and make-up stores are open. Did the other stores go out of buisness? One lady told me they have had a hard time even before the hurricane. Not too many cruisers were going shopping. They had the impression that cruisers were told not to go shopping because it was too dangerous which it isn't.

Coco Cay everyone sat on the boat. The middle was cut out and filled with glass. There was a railing and you looked down. I got motion sickness, but the 2 doing the excursion was very kind. One drove the boat and one snorkled down and brought things up to touch. Highly recommend.

I did glass bottom in Coco Cay. Zoo is wonderful

Papa Flamingo, I wasn't complaining. I didn't understand. If you look at post 21 I figured it out

Looked at Mariner April 29 - May 3, 2019. Did figure out that they do charge taxes and fees for children. It's weird when you figure it out because if you look at base price for a spacious oceanview for adults/kids base price is $211, but if just do adults the base price is $322. When get to final price with kids it's $1017.32, but with just adults it's $830.16. I then subtracted the totals and it equals to adding the taxes and fees.

I tried doing a mock booking and it still shows about $300 for each kid when you look at it priced out. So how are they free?

Post 235 Why would you sign up for a kids soda package at any bar? Sounds like it's different from adult.
-
Back to the original kids info ; I saw they could get an unlimited soda package. How does that compare to a regular soda package?
-
No everyone needs to show a seapass card to get on

If you only visited 1 fort you should see the other. They are both unique.
-
Another vote for the zoo and the fort that is by it. Easy public transportation to get there.
-
I see they have a refundable deposit

Thanks for the replies. I was wondering how warm it got if the roof is closed. It wouldn't be getting direct sun.
