Carnival VALOR 5 Night Cruise Review - Includes Fun-Times & Pictures!

Recommended Posts

This is a great review with so much useful information. We are going on our first cruise at the end of August on the Valor to Cozumel and I feel like I have so much more knowledge after having read your review.

I can't wait for the next installment!

What an awesome review. I saw you ate about as much as I did and a lot of the same things. We got off the Valor yesterday and loved our trip. So there was some rust on the outside of her, it's a ship, it doesn't effect a thing on the inside. I'm sure it will be painted over in due time. I thought they have done a great job in maintaining her. There were 12 of us, with 6 first time cruisers and everyone had a great time.

Thank you for a great and professional review. I especially send my thanks for the information about the missing barcode from the boarding pass. I went back and checked our printed boarding passes and it was missing, although it was viewable on the Carnival website. I then saved the boarding passes as .pdf files, then printed them from the file. Problem solved.

I just got through reading your very thorough review. I really enjoyed it! I give you a lot of credit for setting alarms and awaking so early every day. I see its nice to have the "ship to yourself" in those wee hours. But I just don't think I could convince myself to arise that early on vacation!

Yay.. so awesome. I am sailing on the Valor out of Galveston on October 20th with a large group. I love the review, pictures and Fun-Times. I shared with my group's roll call and our other exchange place on a popular social media site. :)

Thanks for taking the time to make that great review.

I also liked that format you used where you can click the pics to make them bigger so you can fit them all on one page, instead of all of them being giant pictures and the review being like 40 pages on here. No offense to those that put giant pictures on here. I like looking at them too. Just was saying it's quicker to get thru the review and pics the other way.

I'm excited to see this review and will get to reading! We just got off the Dream and while onboard my Husband won a free Getaway cruise in the casino one day during their Slots Power Hour! We like to sail from Galveston so have 2 dates to choose from on the Valor. We love the cove balconies on the Breeze and know the Valor doesn't have these so any recommendations on balcony room locations? We get a free interior but are hoping to be able to upgrade to a balcony.
