Back to Back cruises; questions

They are considered two separate cruises -- some people book the same cabin for each, some choose to change cabins. Depends on availability, preference, lots of factors. You do disembark (just you, not your luggage) and go through entry procedures, then come back on board, get a new sign and sail card, etc. You need separate soda/drinks packages for each cruise. Also separate internet packages, etc. Sometimes there is a special lunch for those on B2B cruises, but it all depends on how many are on board, and what else is happening on the ship at that point.

Also, if you wish to change seating in the dining room, you can as well. When our Maitre d' for our downstairs table for two (it was a four-top) asked us if we were staying there for the second part, I said I would have liked one of the tables for two next to the upstairs railing. That is where we ended up for the second half of the cruise.

I guess the same cabin

Same Sail and Sign card?

Can you buy a soda card for both cruises?

Do you have to leave your cabin when others are debarking?

Any other interesting tidbits?

We have done a couple of B2B's and sometimes you can stay on and sometimes not. We had customs board on our last stop and we did the custom thing on board and did not have to disembark. On our last B2B we had to get off but then we could have got right back on though we chose to go buy our 2 bottles of wine instead! We have both stayed in the same cabin and had different cabins, it depends on what is available.

The best thing about B2B is seeing all the luggage outside the last night while you are still unpacked! Enjoy..... Jill

You must book the same cabin for both cruises. From the cruise line's perspective it's 2 cruises. So, it's not guaranteed to have the same cabin until you arrange it that way.

Same Sail and Sign card?

No. Two separate cruises. Two separate cards. Account settled after each cruise, not at the end of both.

Can you buy a soda card for both cruises?

Yes. Again. You will have to buy for each cruise.

Do you have to leave your cabin when others are debarking?

Yes. You have to do a short-leg debarkation, then you're back on the ship.

Any other interesting tidbits?

Judy
