AC Stew Posted January 14, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2012 Help please, Cabin 6023 is the middle of the three most forward Sweet Sixteens. It has the surrounding support beam feature. Question: For those of you have stayed in this (or any of the other forwardmost of these cabins), have you experienced noise from the theatre below? Thanks! mhbtravel Posted January 14, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2012 I was in a "sweet 16" on the Infinity last month and heard no noise from the theater. The balcony is twice the size of a regular balcony, and half of it is covered providing shade from the sun or protection from the rain. It is a long walk to the back of the ship for dining, etc. however.
AC Stew Posted January 14, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted January 14, 2012 Thanks for the response. I was looking particularly for "noise" experience in those far forward Sweet Sixteens. Cabin 6023 is closer to the stage area.
Redtravel Posted January 14, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2012 Great cabins. I was in 6022. Nice balcony. Some noise from the nightclub below. The cabin way forward....some motion...and an extremely long walk to the MDR. Not the best location. I would prefer deck 7 midship.

Never have heard any noise from the theater.
EithneMay Posted January 15, 2012 #6 Share Posted January 15, 2012 We were in 6016 for our Connie cruise this year, and had no noise problems. We loved the bigger balcony so much we booked the same cabin for our B2B in a few weeks on the Summit.
AC Stew Posted January 15, 2012 Author #7 Share Posted January 15, 2012 Thanks for the input. I'm a little noise sensitive, so I was wondering if the expanded balcony was worth the trade off in case of eg) noise from morning/afternoon rehearsals. The large yet protected balcony might be a good idea for Antarctica. Thanks!
