Sarasota to Tampa cruise port

WE are thinking of taking a repo cruise out of Tampa next April. I would like to visit my aunt for two days before my cruise in Sarasota. Need to find out transportation there is to Tampa cruise port. I am new at this as I always cruise from the NY Boston area. I hate to fly to say the least but going to try to give it a shot. :o I figure it is only one way to fly because of it being a repo cruise. Thank you in advance about any info you can give me.

I would look at a rental car - there is a Hertz within two blocks of the Tampa port as well as an Enterprise (they should give you a free ride to the port) within a couple of miles. Good luck! :)
