Height requirements on Norwegian getaway/breakaway water slides

Hi, we are getting ready to cruise on norwegian getaway. We have 6 children between 7 and 10 in our group. And they are all wondering if they would be able to get on the water rides. Two of them are right about 48 inches tall, the rest are taller.

I do not believe there is a height requirement. There is a weight requirement of 99 pounds for the free fall slide.

I think there is, pretty sure it was 48 inches, but I may be confusing the slides with the rope course requirements. I agree that for the free fall slides there is a weight requirement.

There are 5 slides on the Breakaway. The open Blue one and the twisting enclosed Yellow and Pink ones have a 40" min. The two Freefall slides are 48".

 

The entrance to the Splash Academy on Decks 12 and 13 are right outside the forward elevators.

No. It's the minimum weight regardless of your age.

My 49 inch daughter has been bugging me about this same question. I hope she can ride all but the free fall slide on the Getaway.

Height requirements is 48 inches on free fall slide and you must weigh more than 98 pound but less than 300 pound. Aqua racer is 42 inches.

Getaway/Breakaway

Ropes Course: Must be 48" (122cm) or taller to be on the course without a chaperone. Max weight is 300 lbs (136kgs) Skytykes (child's course) available for under 48" (122cm) as long as chaperone is present. Max weight is 300 lbs (136kgs). Enclosed footwear is required (such as sneakers) – no flip flops or sandals are permitted on the ropes course.

Waterslides: Free Fall - Must be 48" (122cm) or taller and weigh at least 99lbs (45kgs) but no more than 300lbs (136kgs). No jewelry of any kind may be worn on the slide. Whip Waterslides - Must be to be at least 48" (122cm). Family slide - Must be at least 42" (106cm).

Bungee: No minimum height but guests must be over 30lbs (14kgs) but under 250lbs (113kgs) and must be able to bounce unassisted.

Spiderweb: Minimum height is 42" (106cm) guests must be over 30lbs (14kgs) but under 250lbs (113kgs)
