Norwegian Ffords Cruise

Hi there.

May should be quite nice. Not Caribbean hot, but nice enough.

The trick with Norway is layers, easy on and easy off depending on the moment. Also a brolly or Mac to hand. Those showers can come quick, believe me, I've got caught in them.

Either way you'll have a great cruise, don't forget your camera!

The last time I cruised the Norwegian fjords, there was a big snowstorm that morning outside one of the ports. Other ports were so warm that I was walking around in a summer dress. And then there were the days that started out chilly, but sunny, which turned into heavy rain and cold.

In other words---be prepared for just about anything. Layering is good. A jacket, with gloves packed in the pockets is good, too.

We were only once in May, and the weather was from "need a jacket" in the morning to "feel good in a t-shirt" later in the day. Dress in layers.

Shortly before the cruise check the weather forecast for each port, so you know if you'll need boots, shoes, or sandals, and what to pack.

Your ship will be sailing into the fjords, don't miss it in the morning, approx. 2 hrs before the scheduled docking time. The beauty is unbelievable.
