Allure vs Norwegian Getaway

What would you do? We put a deposit down on two Central Park balcony rooms for a family of four on Allure. Looking at the Getaway... We can get one Family balcony cabin for around the same price. Can we fit four in that cabin? What ship is better? Would you switch to one room on the Getaway? We don't care about the itinerary. Thanks

Why would you want to fit a family of four into 1 cabin unless the children are underage? What does you family consist of? We have been on the Allure 2 times and had a Central Park balcony. That was really the best. You cannot go wrong on the Allure. Stay with what you have.

I have been on Oasis and the Getaway. We had a great time on both ships. We stayed in an ocean view balcony on both. It would be tight with 4 people in a balcony. What are the ages of your kids and what kinds of activities do they like? We thought the entertainment overall was better on Oasis. We loved the watersides on Getaway and were on them almost daily. For us the flow rider was fun going on it a few times, but did not spend as much time there as we did on the slides. Both ships have a variety of up charge and complimentary restaurants. Good luck with your decision. Both ships are a lot of fun!!

Allure all the way.

We just got off the new Escape ( comparable to the Getaway). Just seems to us that the Allure has much more to do entertainment wise. Always something going on, for all ages. The Escape has the slides but not all the shows. A lot of things on NCL are offered, but as an up sale. We give Royal Caribbean more thumbs up overall, no matter the ship.

I agree (based on my experience on the NCL Epic compared to my Royal cruises).
