Camera to use on kayak and zodiac excursions

What would be a good, simple (point and shoot) waterproof camera for use on kayak and zodiac trips. I don't want to use my phone in a waterproof enclosure - don't want to risk leaks or loss.

I tried searching, but didn't find the answer. Posts on the photo board seemed more focused on something to use underwater (e.g. snorkeling) and the recommendations were generally $350 to $400. I'd prefer something around $200 or less.
