Galveston to Houston transportation for 11:49 flight?

I will be disenbarking my cruise in Galveston. Anyone have any ideas on how to get to Houston. I found a flight out of Houston that I really like but it leaves at 11:49 so I don't think I can use the shuttle that the cruise line supplies. Is there another way to do this?

Which airport are you flying out of - Hobby (HOU) or George Bush (IAH)?

It says IAHORD. I assume George Bush Airport.

we booked a one way car rental from enterprise. They are at the cruise terminal and our total price is $47 and will turn it in at IAH.

I found the phone number on the galveston port website. They do not offer it on the way to Galveston which is weird. They open at 9am on debarkation day.

11:49 flight, from what i have read, would be cutting it short. IAH is about an 1 1/2 hours from galveston.

We have used Kays Marine Transportation They are family owned not fancy but friendly and reliable. Wont get into rates as we have not used them since fuel prices went crazy. E-Mail Kaystransport@yahoo.com. However you get there cruiseing is the only way to go.
