margord Posted August 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2006 I will be disenbarking my cruise in Galveston. Anyone have any ideas on how to get to Houston. I found a flight out of Houston that I really like but it leaves at 11:49 so I don't think I can use the shuttle that the cruise line supplies. Is there another way to do this? Thanks in advance
wrp96 Posted August 3, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2006 Which airport are you flying out of - Hobby (HOU) or George Bush (IAH)?
margord Posted August 3, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted August 3, 2006 It says IAHORD. I assume George Bush Airport.
endi302 Posted August 12, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 12, 2006 we booked a one way car rental from enterprise. They are at the cruise terminal and our total price is $47 and will turn it in at IAH. I found the phone number on the galveston port website. They do not offer it on the way to Galveston which is weird. They open at 9am on debarkation day. wrp96 Posted August 12, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 12, 2006 Try www.galvestonlimo.com which is a shuttle service.
breanne$5 Posted August 12, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 12, 2006 11:49 flight, from what i have read, would be cutting it short. IAH is about an 1 1/2 hours from galveston.
specialthing1 Posted August 13, 2006 #7 Share Posted August 13, 2006 We have used Kays Marine Transportation They are family owned not fancy but friendly and reliable. Wont get into rates as we have not used them since fuel prices went crazy. E-Mail Kaystransport@yahoo.com. However you get there cruiseing is the only way to go.
