Port of San Diego?

I am taking a cruise out of San Diego and driving there myself. Any suggestions for parking? Any experience you can pass on would be greatly appreciated!

The two closest parking areas are Lane Field and Five Star. They range from $11 to $15 a day. There are several Park and Ride places in the area, ranging in price from $9 to $12 a day. Those Park and Ride places have shuttles to the cruise ship terminals.

Parking lot across the street from terminal. Believe it is 12 dollars a day. Used parknflynetwork.com and they range from 8 to 12 dollars with fast shuttles to pier. Only took ten minutes both ways. Have a reservation for Dec and they are only charging 7 dollars at lot 7. The shuttle picks you up right at the gangway.

Parking lot right across the street from the terminal. I believe it 12 dollars a day still. But very convenient. Traffic in that area can be horrific at times.

yes we parked right across from the cruise terminal at lane field ,,

you can park and walk to the terminal, or hire a bike person ( the ones wiht the carriages ) to take you and your luggage to the pier for 10$.. they will be all around in the parking lot, its only about 1 block away

the parking was like 15$ per day ..

They shuttle to the ship, of course. Call for reservations.

This is really good to know - DD and SIL will be driving to San Diego for an Elation honeymoon in May 2008 and were planning to park there!

We're departing from San Diego and driving i nfro mPhx. We booked a night at The Best Western Seven Seas for $99 - it includes parking for the duration of our cruise and a shuttle to/from the pier....
