dovie_6 Posted May 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2007 I am taking a cruise out of San Diego and driving there myself. Any suggestions for parking? Any experience you can pass on would be greatly appreciated!
kitty9 Posted May 3, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2007 The two closest parking areas are Lane Field and Five Star. They range from $11 to $15 a day. There are several Park and Ride places in the area, ranging in price from $9 to $12 a day. Those Park and Ride places have shuttles to the cruise ship terminals. justhanging Posted May 3, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 3, 2007 Parking lot across the street from terminal. Believe it is 12 dollars a day. Used parknflynetwork.com and they range from 8 to 12 dollars with fast shuttles to pier. Only took ten minutes both ways. Have a reservation for Dec and they are only charging 7 dollars at lot 7. The shuttle picks you up right at the gangway.
Kurbanfan Posted May 3, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 3, 2007 Parking lot right across the street from the terminal. I believe it 12 dollars a day still. But very convenient. Traffic in that area can be horrific at times.

Darlipoo Posted May 6, 2007 #10 Share Posted May 6, 2007 For anyone reading this in 2008, be aware that the Lane Field parking lot is going to be taken away and buildings are going up.

This is really good to know - DD and SIL will be driving to San Diego for an Elation honeymoon in May 2008 and were planning to park there!
