Example packing list for Sept

Can someone give us an example of what you would pack for an Alaska cruise out of Seattle in Sept?! On the few cruises we have been on they have all been to warm climates (plus we live in TX) so not too sure on what I actually SHOULD plan on packing. Plus I want to take as little as possible since we are flying.

You need essentially the same no matter when you go. LAYERS, a sweatshirt, turtle neck etc. lightweight lined jacket, knit hat, gloves, 2 pair of walking shoes, GOOD rain gear. Dress clothes for the ship. I never take jeans, too bulky, tend to get and stay damp and take forever to dry. I like lined wind pants and leggins. Mix and match. I always do laundry in Skagway off ship. Greatly cuts down on bulk.

for clothes, the key is to dress in layers so you can adapt to the weather change. Below is my packing list I used for my previous trips.
