Favorite Slot Machines?

I'm not an adventurous gambler by any sense of the word, but I do play low denomination slots. On the Holiday there were two penny slot machines that I played for hours - one with an Australian lizard in a mine (cannot for the life of me remember the name) and the other was called "Raking in the Dough" or something like that. These two just seemed to put me in the bonus round more often than the others I tried (although ultimately they took my money!!).

Please share what your favorite slot machines are...(I know, I know - the ones that pay out!!)

On the Freedom of the Sea, I play this simple quarter 3 real thing with 7s but it also has a little screen on the side for a diamond bonus. Once I got like 6 bonus rounds in 5 minute,s I thought the machine was broken! Got about 40$ out of it. That was pretty cool. I also play a Davinci machine with pictures that fall from the top and on 70, not too bad for a nickel machine!

I've played that Davinci one too with the pictures that fall. I think the most I've ever won at one time from a penny slot was $60 or so. I sat beside a lady in Biloxi playing a penny machine and she had $372 racked up and was still going at it by the time I lost all my money! She kept saying 'I can't believe this is a penny machine'. I was trying to be happy for her, but I kept thinking Damn! If I just gotten to that machine first!!

There is a barnyard nickel slot machine on the Carnival Glory that features pigs in the bonus round....pick a pig from the mud wallow and when the farmer washes it off the number on the pig is that many times your bet. I've won as much as $80 doing that one.

i love the davinci diamonda machine too:), also on the p&o ventura this year they had a group of slots called the village people party. look out for that one its great fun especially when you get on the bonus board its worth it for the loud rendition of y.m.c.a. and the dancing, cowboy, builder, ....etc::D no body had touched them the first evening, so my husband and i had a go and after that they were going every five minutes.

I love penny slots and I'm happy that is seems that most of the cruise lines are adding them--While on the Century last year I hit a the slots more than I normally do and always walked out when I was ahead-even just a few dollars--Tabasco- Creature of the Black Lagoon and Catch a wave are a few of my favorites-----I even did well on a nickel machine--and walked away with over 108.00 in nickles----that was fun too----carrying the nickels to the cashier and not just a slip of paper--

I hope the FOS is gives me some play for my money---

cheers

I enjoy playing the penny machines. I never thought I would like them. I used to say that I would never play one. Well let me tell you I tried them and love them. They are so cool. On the Freedom of the Seas I played some of them. I did better on them then the quarter slots.

Yea, I love to play the penny machines. I'm hoping that I do better on them on the Paradise than I've been doing on them lately at the local casino! haha!

My favorite machine is the Golden Monkey machines which has a progressive payout. The last time I played it was on the Zaandam Nov 07.

My biggest peeve is these penny machines that require you to use $2.60- 4.00 a pull for the progressive payout. This machine had a modest $1.25 per pull requirement for the max. It had multiple progressive payouts, with occasional bonus rounds that are really entertaining - lots of hoopla and music.

I put in $20 and cashed out $260 in about 20 minutes.

(That's why it's one of my favorites)

I'm a member of several online UK casino's, almost all of which use US parent machines re: slots. On my recent travels on The Brilliance Of The Seas I found a generally poor slot return, however, overall i won around $400 thanks to a slot called Gusher. I actually won two jackpots $250 plus on that. Not bad for a 40 cent stake. Probs wagered around $2000 and came out $400 on top. Put the celebrations on hold! There was a guy who won $20,000 on a poker machine. He then went around the corner and won another $4,000. All very impressive until you saw that he was wagering max bets every time. If you are slots gamblers you know the drill. I like Gusher a lot and I hit big wins a few times by being the early bird. That's my tip to you. :)

I was wondering if there are any QUICK HITS machines on Carnival Sensation? My wife's favorite. Also any WHEEL OF FORTUNE, DEAL OR NO DEAL, MULTI-HAND POKER? What are some of the machines we can expect? Besides the usual 7's type.

I was on the Carnival Fascination in June this year and they had the Quick hit penny slot(One of my favorites too) game and two wheel of Fortunes(quarter slots). I know this is not the exact ship you will be on but I think these are sister ships, hope that helps. Have a ton of fun anyway!!!

Anyone had experience with machines on the Westerdam lately?

Also, rumor has it there are slot tournaments.......how do they work?

Tx.

Slot Tournaments are fun, you usually buy in for $20.00 and you play roped off set of machines with everyone else who has entered, you play in rounds of 10 people per round. you play one machine for 300 spins and the top 10 scores advance to the final round which then determines the overall winner of the slot tournament. I have played in 3 or 4 and for the $20 it is etertaining and just like any other slot game it is a gamble, who know you may just be the lucky winner!! Have fun.

I love the slots - part of my cruise entertainment.:D

On the Splendour in August, last night of the cruise, I was playing for ages on a penny slot, don't remember the name but a bit like Davinci Diamonds. The bonus game takes you into a jewelry store. Anyway played with $20 and took out $90. There was still .45cents in m/c so I stuck in a couple of quarters to try one spin. Played for over an hour on those 2 qtrs, and took out $80!! Then on the way out the casino decided to put $10 in Yukon Gold. Hit that for $73 took it out, then put in a couple more quarters for another spin and got $125 back. Had to leave then as they were shutting off the machines!!

I wasn't up but it did cover all my losses for the week so I was happy, and it's gone into my next cruise casino kitty!!:)
