First-Time Cruisers sailing Nov 6-13 Barbados to Barbados. From the list of shore excursions listed online for those dates any recommendations. We like Full Island tour with Helene in St barts, Best of St Lucia and Best of Bequia. Does SS offer more excursions once you board the ship?

Does SS offer more excursions once you board the ship?

Everything is subject to change, but the definitive guide will be the printed one with your cruise documents. Usually that is pretty much what is on the web site. What's available at a particular port tends to be a standard list of what the local agents offer. The surprises are mostly cancellations: minimum numbers not reached, local holidays, limited resources fully booked by some other group, and less frequently by others on your own ship. In the last case, there's always the wait list, which often works.

So do people generally do shore excursions or is that a first timer thing.

My wife and I are not beach people and would like to discover the island and what it has to offer. So whats the best way to do that?
