Privacy issue aft cabin balcony 1102, Jewel

If you stand all the way aft on your balcony,yes, then you can look up and see people above you(as you can do the same for the cabins below you)..................but if you are closer to your sliding door,no........

We had 1600 on the Serenade, and if we stood at the rail and turned around, we could see the folks upstairs at the Windjammer. If we stood at the rail and looked down, we could see folks standing near the rail on their balconies on the decks below us.

The nice thing is, these balconies are big enough that you can sit on them without being right next to the rail, and thus have some privacy.

Wouldn't recommend going for (or renewing) membership in the Balcony Club on one of these, though!! ;)

Can anyone tell me if there is a privacy issue on the balcony of this cabin? Will there be people waving to you from above? :D Thanks

 

Only if you actually lean out over your railing and look up.
