Super Bowl and Muster Drill

We will be sailing out of San Juan on the CB Super Bowl Sunday. The ship sails at 11 PM Atlantic Standard Time. The game should run between 7:30 PM AST to 11 PM AST. When have the muster drills be held in the past ?

You will muster for 20-30 minutes probably ending at 10:45 PM AST, they can't really change the law.

I haven't sailed that late during super bowl but I'll bet they shut down all TV's & MUTS during the drill. They're wouldn't be anyone at the drill. :D

The last couple of times we sailed out of San Juan they held the muster drill between 19:30 and 20:30. Obviously not for an hour, but sometime within that time frame.

 

We were off the ship, but heard the horn blasts from the waterfront.

Hi

DH and I were on the Caribbean Princess last year for the superbowl. If remember correctly, the muster drill was at 7. ( and they do make you go to it) What we did was, right after the drill, i took the life vests back to the room, while Hubby went up to the MUTS area. He got lucky and grabbed 2 seats down by the pool area. When I got there, He went and got a bucket of beers from the bar and we were all set. We had a great time! The only bad thing you do not see the US commercials.

The last time I did the San Juan sailing muster drill was between early and late seating for dinner about 8:00ish.

Not Super Bowl week. I was on a Christmas cruise. It was nice watching games on the MUTS.
