TVMet Posted January 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2005 I found this web site from the local Netherland Antilles Met. Service. It has a good forecast for the ABC islands and live local radar. A very nice weather page for this part of the world... http://www.weather.an/index.asp

TVMet Posted January 5, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted January 5, 2005 I would certainly trust a local meteorologist rather than a US based computer generated forecast you get from weather.com or yahoo or USA Today or Accu-wx. Go with the locals, unless there is a hurricane coming then look at the U.S. National Hurricane Center forecast too.
Arubalisa Posted January 5, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2005 In my opinion, and my opinion only... Unfortunately, so called "Chamber of Commerce" weather reports have their purpose also. This is not to say that the Meteorological service of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba is not reliable, however, to be informed one may choose to receive their weather information for more than just one source. All meterologists use analysis of meteorological data rather than just looking out the window and saying "yeah it is going to rain today"... Unfortunately the world just suffered a great loss Thailand fires chief meteorologist Was the lack of warning due to fear of harming tourism?
