Formal Nights On The Pride?

How do I find out what nights these will be on my 10/4 sailing? I want to book reservations for the steak house, but don't want to miss out on a formal night.

First sea day (Monday) and very likely Friday after Freeport. Today is the first Sunday departure so you'll likely have to wait to hear from those people to be sure, but the sea day/port day schedule is the same as the Friday departure we did a few weeks ago and our elegant nights were first sea day and Freeport day. You depart Freeport early enough to have ample time to get ready for dinner.

Thanks for the info! One other question- we signed up for Your Time Dining; does that apply to formal nights, or do we have to be there at a specific time?

We just returned from 8 day cruise on the Pride today. Cruise left on Saturday, and first "elegant" night was the next day, on Sunday. Second "elegant" night was the next to last night of cruise, which was Friday, day we were in Freeport. Dress-up night is now called elegant and not formal.

My Carnival online info says 5:45-9:30. But my question was specific to the formal nights- do those start at a specific time (the Captain's cocktail party, for instance)?

One way to find out a lot of things is to go to www.webshots.com and search for Capers for the cruise you will be going on.

The Capers don't really help, as the Pride only started sailing from Baltimore in April of this year, and the Sunday-Sunday Bahamas itinerary is apparently pretty new as well.

On ours, the Captain's cocktail parties were at 5 and 7, so you'd just pick whichever one works best with when you want to go to dinner.
