Turnpike Driving & Sunpass Mini

Just an FYI if you are planning on driving to get to Miami, Ft Lauderdale, or Port Canaveral, you can now purchase the SunPass Mini even if you live out of state via the Sunpass Support line 1-888-TOLL-FLA (1-888-865-5352).

Took me 5 minutes on the phone and will probably save me 20-30 minutes waiting at toll plazas and about $8 total. Not much time or money, but when you are driving 22 hours already, every little bit counts! This info wasn't listed in plain english on their website, thought this might be beneficial for other folks as well.

be warned that the SunPass Mini is NOT transferable 'tween vehicles. It glues to the front windshield and is not made to be removed.....

 

When you buy one for $5 you get a $5 credit on the account (credit card) so a throwaway might still be a good idea ... maybe . . .
