New to HAL

Hi Wally8 ; I guess the best bet is to tell us what ship you have booked so we can help you. The numbers are not all common on each ship. FYI. HAL has 14 ships at this time with another in the shipyard. Welcome to CC and happy cruising. Colakid.

Welcome to the board, Wally8. I'm betting you're on Westerdam from the mention of Aruba.

There have been discussions, pro and con, about this cabin. To get the larger balcony, you lose a few square feet of cabin space. However, the cabin is laid out differently than others.

Here's one (older) thread about your cabin:

Hope you come back to this board soon and often!

We book 8099 on Vista ships because the cabin is a little bigger and part of the veranda has a somewhat forward facing view. It's convenient to the aft elevators but not noisy.
