How bad is the BW Marina yacht club

How bad is Marina Yacht Club in Fort Lauderdale...I'm already booked their but have seen some negative comments.

 

If it's realyy that bad I'll just get another one.

we stayed there 2 years ago (pre- and post-cruise), and had no complaints at all.

My TA said that she had stayed there and that it was fine, but I'd read some negative comments on one of the threads and began to worry.

We also stayed there a couple of years ago, and it was fine, very friendly staff, you are very close to the water taxi and you are able to see all the action at the cruise terminals. We really had no complaints.

We stayed at the BW Marina and Yacht pre-cruise in March 2004. The shuttle from the airport and to the cruise terminal was very efficient. The rooms were not clean and were musty. The included breakfast was 1 dry muffin, OJ and coffee.

 

You can definitely do better for the money. We will not stay there again.

We stayed there before our cruise in the summer of 2002. It was fine.

If I remember, it was about $100. per night? There were a bunch of other cruisers staying there...and that was fun.

 

Somehow, a cruiser just knows how to spot another cruiser! :p

 

I have since returned to FLL....and stayed at another hotel. ....but, I like to try different places.

 

The staff was very good. The shuttle very efficient. The room was a bit crowded....but it was just a room for the night.

 

It is more like a really nice motel.....than a hotel. (IMHO)
