We have just changed our cruise dates from June 8, 2010 to October 30, 2010.

The ports are all the same except one.

 

Instead of Cannes we will be docking in Toulon, France (Provence)

 

What to do there...any advice will be helpful

Hi- we have been to Toulon twice- the first time we did a very nice ship's excursion to Aix-en-Provence and Marseilles.

The second time we stayed in port, rode on the little land train, visited the market, took a local bus to Mont Faron where we got a cable car to the nature reserve.

Both times we were there on a Sunday, and all the main shope were closed.

The harbour area is very pleasant with lots of cafes and restaurants. There is a beach about 15 minutes walk to the right (if you stand with back to the sea!)
