Princess Tours Question: Doing two same day tours, back to back

As long as the first tour is back on time, or only a little late you should be fine. I find that the tours rarely leave right on schedule (Unlike the ship which will normally leave exactly on time). Also, the tour operators know how many to expect for a tour, and will take a head count and wait for any tardy guests-up to a point.

A few things to keep in mind when booking a back to back shore excursion; is it a tender port? Some excursions I have taken have left directly from the ship, other tours I was told to meet on the pier, and still other had me go to the theater to wait for a tender. And what type of tour is the first tour? Some types of tours are notorious for running late, while others run like clockwork.

I have booked back to back tours on several occasions and have never had a problem, but I am sure you will hear a few horror stories.
