Broken bottles in luggage

I don't bring anything but wine on board and it's always the box version. I always find a store and buy it at the port of departure and put it in the suitcase the morning we board. Never had one leak yet. There are some very nice wines that come boxed these days.

 

Any recommendations on the wine in the box?????

Buy a set of child's watter wiggles, put them around the bottle and blow them up. Dollar Tree has them seasonly in a 2 pack for a buck.

 

Water wiggles are the small arm-band type pool floties for kids.

Had a bottle of Cruzan Blackstrap Rum break on the way home from our 2010 cruise in my brand new Liz Clairborne bag. It was wrapped up and everything. Had to soak my clothing out and clean the bag out. Did not make me happy.
