One way rental car POM to West Palm???

We got a "smokin'" deal on a flight out of West Palm after our cruise but the least expensive rental car is $80, even without a drop charge....any ideas???? Priceline doesn't allow one way bids.....

All you can do is shop around, try every company.

 

You have to take things like that into consideration when booking flights, many times the savings are eaten up with transportation costs. You're going to need a taxi to the rental car agency (some have shuttles, but in many cases the wait time can be quite long), then you have to consider the cost of gas, the time and hassle of it all. In the end many who have done it ended up not saving anything or find out it cost more.

I'm Hertz Gold member, but when in Florida I use Dollar Car Rental and use PROMO code KISSE. $25 per day rental, plus $10 fee for returning it to a different location. $48 after all that including taxes and all the other fees.

cheap fare from PBI to MIA airport....then grab a cheap, pre set price for a cab to the pier.

 

save time bypassing traffic too.

But tri-rail is not set up for tourists, there's no where to put luggage, you have to take a bus between the airports and the stations, and it's subject to frequent lengthy delays.

When renting a car from POM - is there a better company to use? I understand there are no actual rental offices close by, but do any of them have a shuttle service to their location? thanks.

Yes, Some (if not all) of them do have free shuttle to MIA airport. Dollar and Thrify do for sure. Hertz has one closer by, but it's closed on Sunday's.
