St Thomas Jet Boat and Labadee Wave Runner

Has anyone been on any of these two excursions? Any information will be welcome. We want to book these, but are they worth it? Do you actually get to play around with the Wave Runners :) or do just have to follow the guide:( ?

We did the wave runners in June. You do have to follow the guide. There is a front and rear guide to keep everyone in track. You go over some reefs so they want to make sure you don't get stuck. They assign numbers to people before you set out so the fast people can go in front and the slow people behind. We were in the front of the pack and you go at full speed. They took you through a lot of curves, etc. My husband was driving and I was on the back and I almost got thrown a couple of times. They stop every so often so people can catch up. We were so glad we did the waverunners. One of the highlights of our cruise.

Thanks Emilymad. Appreciate your reply. I think we will go ahead and book it - it sounds like fun - we like to do more "exciting" stuff and this sounds like a great idea. I also had another look at the Screamin' Eagle boat thingie, and that also looks great.:D
