Financial problems of Parent Company Old News

Having read the posts about the parent company and thinking of taking the Caribbean Southern Route at the end of Nov, I phoned the UK, HQ. The Director I spoke to said that this had been a potential problem but the parent company had sold other assets, obtained refinancing and were having a very successful season in the Med. They are committed to the Windstar brand. He regarded all this as old news.

Ok - You may say " He would say that wouldn't he "

In the UK we get financial protection when we pay by credit card so it will not stop me .

If anyone has done this trip in Nov / Dec I would be grateful to hear what the sea conditions were like.

Many thanks
