Question re Wine Packages

I am going on my 34th cruise in November, but my first on RCC. I noticed from the RCC web-site that three wine packages are offered. However, there is not mention of price or number of bottles included in the packages. It does say that the wine can be used in the cabin or served in the dining room or both. Can anyone fill me in.

Also once the cruise has started and I bring on a bottle of wine to have in my cabin. HAL and Princess allow this, but I thought that I read that is against the RCC rules.

Thanks:)

You cant officially bring your own bottle of wine on RCI. There are ways though and just dont fight it if you get caught. The wine package is usually based on the number of nights cruising. On 10 day cruises we usually buy the 10 day gold package. There are a couple of wines we like in it and dont think the diamond or platinum packages are worth the extra cost. The wine package for the number of nights cruising is about 25% off the cost of the wine if you bought one of the bottles on the list every day. You can drink the wine anywhere. You have to go to the bar in the Windjammer during the day to get a bottle or you can have your waiter at night bring you how ever many bottles you want for the next day.

When you obtain your bottle from the Windjammer or the dinning room, do they mark it with anything to identify it as "kosher"?
