Tips with parking at POM

First time at POM, going to do a seven night cruise, sunday-sunday on the Carnival Liberty. I've been searching, but wasn't able to find answers to my general questions:

Do you pay POM upon entry or exit? Do accept credit card? Exact change only?

Is there a choice where I can park and if so, is there a good location that's a compromise between near the ship and POMs exit?

Is there different entrances to POM and if so, is there generally one that has good odds of being the least congested?

What time would you all recommend I get there?

Directions and parking info... http://www.miamidade.gov/portofmiami/directions_parking.asp

Park in the garage closest to where your ship is docked. There is only one way into and out of Port of Miami, over the bridge from downtown Miami.

I'd get there by 11am, unless there were delays with disembarkation, embarkation normally begins between by 11:30am or so.
