Baltimore restaurant near pier?

Driving down on SUNDAY!!! Like to get "in the general area" fairly early. Would love to eat breakfast at a nearby restaurant until it is time to board.

 

Any suggestions?

Red Sox are in town playing the Orioles (GO SOXS!) on Sunday. Baltimore gets a little crazy when they are in town. Think the game is at 2. Give me about 20 mins - my dh works in Bmore - right across from the port (drives him crazy seeing the ships come and go from his office). I will ask him for some ideas and post them.

 

Are you parking your car at the pier or a hotel?

Parking at the pier. We're only 1 1/2 hours away. A friend of mine used to be a harbor cop there. He didn't think there were any restaurants in that area. If not, we'll eat closer to home... But I appreciate any help you and your husband can give! Thanks!

is great - not sure if it will be open when you want to eat - might not open until lunch - # on site to call.

 

He also said from the pier if you go west on key highway and take a left on rt 2 - go about 3.5 miles and there is a bob evans and a few other places in the Brooklyn Park section. He said when you go over the Vietman Vet Bridge - stay to the right.

Ewww, I wouldn't go driving around most of Brooklyn Park. If I were the OP, I'd eat closer to home!

The closest place would be Hull Street Cafe for brunch, pricey, reservations recommended. If you're coming down I83 you could stop at the Nautilus Diner on York Rd in Timonium. Greek American and reasonably priced. We were on the Pride by 1:30 and the Asian station was terrific. :)
