Hi - I am going on the Costa Concordia in November 2009 and wondered if there are tours guides available at the port in Marseille. I've been on a number of cruises where you can get one as soon as you walk off the ship. Is there Hop-On Hop-Off bus there? Thanks! :)

http://www.marseille-tourisme.com/en/in-marseille/ Everything you need to know. You can download maps, check out the transportation, and even contact the tourist office for guided tours information.

You find only taxis there who are offering tours.

I contacted the tourist office in Marseille (for my visit in November) and they do have guided tours, not just taxi tours. The web site has tons of information.

Guided tours for individuals

A monthly programme is available for individuals. Reservation required. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the tour at the Information Desk (4, la Canebière), but subject to availability.
