WeatherGeek Posted January 3, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2005 Have you thought about checking out Maho Beach? That's what I'll be doing because I love watching planes land and take off....the beach itself is nothing to write home about from what I understand. TIA Are you certain that it's the chocolate shop in Marigot (French side) that you're interested in seeing? Yes, there is Hediard, at the West Indies Mall in Marigot, but the chocolates most often mentioned here are in Philipsburg, at the Belgian Chocolate Shop on Old Street. I have both bookmarked for our excursion.
gtaylor Posted January 7, 2005 #5 Share Posted January 7, 2005 If you do venture into Marigot, I would highly suggest a trek up to Fort Louis/Fort Marigot, on the hill above the harbour, as it has a great view of much of the island and a view of Anguilla, as well. I'd say that it is a 'must see'. If you happen to be interested in jewelery, you can also view a shot of our friend's shop on Front Street, Shiva's Gold and Gems.
