SO= Superior Ocean View :D

and SO(s) are on deck 9 and larger than the OVs on deck 8 and below..

 

Not sure about the shady balcony question.........really havent used the balcony too much on the short-(port intensive) cruises.....

should have figured 8556 is our cabin wonder just how bad obstruction is it is a free cruise but guess what we are still on the ship and going got to still be better than a inside lol,

Did you actualy stay in cabin 9000 on Brilliance of the Seas? I have a tentative (24 hr) booking in that ship...

You DO realize this is a 3 year old thread???? And this thread is regarding the Monarch...not the brilliance...and Cabin 9000 on the Monarch is not a balcony cabin...
