Awesome. We enjoy watching football immensely. Last year we were in Vegas and sat in the bar at the Green Valley Ranch sportsbook and watched football. It was a fabulous day on that vacation :) Can't wait to repeat it on this one! Will they show college games on Saturdays in the sports bar? redskin80 Posted September 28, 2009 #8 Share Posted September 28, 2009 Yes you will get the games in the Glove Bar, just outside of the Casino. Now I know that in the past the feed is from Denver. I am from Denver and Broncos Fan, so I was happy. You will get the games from Channel 4 (CBS)and Channel 13 (FOX). We usually get two games on CBS and 2 on FOX. yst347 Posted September 28, 2009 #10 Share Posted September 28, 2009 Carnival will have the Monday Night Football game available as long as it isn't pre-empted by a bigger event on the ESPN International feed to Latin America. On Sunday all Carnival ships will carry the games broadcast by the Denver local CBS and FOX affiliates as well as the Sunday Night game on NBC which will also be available via the Denver NBC affiliate. Sunday November 1st is week 8 of the NFL season. Even numbered weeks are FOX doubleheader weeks so FOX Denver will broadcast an early game and a late game. CBS will broadcast the Denver Broncos at Baltimore Ravens game so Fox could broadcast any one of the following games early: Stl vs Det Minn vs GB SF vs IND Sea vs Dal any either of these two late games Car vs Arz NYG vs Phi The Sunday night game on NBC isn't scheduled at this time, at least not on NBCSports.com so can't tell you if a game will be moved to that time slot or not. Watch the Denver affilates' listings the week before you sail for more up to date scheduling.
Gilesgirl8 Posted September 28, 2009 #11 Share Posted September 28, 2009 Were from Texas and LOVE football, hope its on the big screeen on the conquest. It would be even better if they would show some hockey games on that big screen (Dallas Stars).
LemurCat Posted September 28, 2009 #12 Share Posted September 28, 2009 I sure hope my beloved NHL is on the pool side screen, we Canadians deserve some fun too!:) Sorry, Todd, you're gonna be out of luck for the most part on that one. Unless NBC is showing a Saturday matinee game (in which you will inevitably get stuck seeing some Eastern Conference teams), you will be hockey-less. The broadcast contract for the US was awarded to Versus a while back when ESPN didn't feel much like playing ball (due to low ratings). The ships don't get Versus because 1. Versus is owned by Comcast and Comcast and the major satellite companies do not currently have a contract and 2. the ship's satellite package wouldn't have it anyway, as the tv choices are desperately limited. It's fox 31 and here's a link for other people... http://affiliate.zap2it.com/tvlistings/ZCSGrid.do?sgridType=list&fromTimeInMillis=1255240800000&stnNum=21319 It said NFL game the date 10/11, but didn't say who's playing. All I got out of that was that Fox isn't having the afternoon game that day, lol
