Naming of the ship ceremony?

When do they have the official name the ship for Oasis....with the godmother breaking the bottle against the bow? Will it be on the Dec 1st ingaural or maybe on the 5th? Or will it be before those dates?

The Naming Cruise happens (as Sue posted) on Nov 30th. It is also a Make A Wish Foundation Fundraiser. 1000 cabins are being sold to raise money for the charity.

Prices starting at $750 pp for the one night special cruise.

I was on the naming ceremony cruise on the Celebrity Equinox.

Very emotional and inspiring.

 

A day that I will rememeber for the rest of my life.

 

The entire ceremony, incouding the actual naming was carried out in the theatre but was really very very well presented by the RCI/CELEB hierarchy

Any insights or rumours as to who the godmother might be? The Freedom class they chose non celebrities and public had input into the voting process. wonder what route they are going for this?

It will be on the special one night event in aid of the "Make a Wish" charity, Nov 30th, cabins are now being sold for $1500 upwards.

This will be a fabulouis event, supporting a fabulous organisation. I am glad that i was able to secure a cabin before it sells out.
