What to do Brooklyn before cruise?

Has anyone done a tour in Brooklyn before leaving for their cruise? We leave from the Brooklyn terminal in Red Hook on Oct. 13th at 7:00PM. We now realize that we won't have time to do anything other than options that may be close to the ship terminal. I did find two tour companies online - A Tour Grows in Brooklyn and Big Onion. Has anyone used them?

Any suggestions? We will have about 3 hours. I did notice that Ikea is close to the terminal so we may go there. Thanks.
