I spent about 5 months surfing this board prior to our trip. Thanks so much to everyone who contributed wisdom for our planning. We did a week self directed land tour followed by a week cruise southbound on the Coral Princess. It was as nearly perfect a vacation as one could hope for, thanks in large part to the things I learned on Cruise Critic.
