Gingeruk Posted September 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2009 Hello, i am a frequent cruiser but have only just joined the forum. I am going on the red sea magic cruise on the Celebration on 24th Dec. Does anybody know if Christmas day is also the night they have the captains cocktail party? any past experiences? thanks :D
Smee Posted September 29, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2009 Interesting question but Christmas day is going to be quite busy, what time does the Petra tour get back.....:)
Gingeruk Posted September 29, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted September 29, 2009 will you be there too then Smee? We have decided that we won't be going anywhere on christmas day other than the bars and restaurants. I have never been away over christmas before, not quite sure what to expect. We have been on thomson cruises the weeks leading up to christmas a fair few times (the first time being on the Topaz) and it was, well, christmassy! Smee Posted October 2, 2009 #4 Share Posted October 2, 2009 We would prefer not to do anything Christmas day but to be so close to Petra and not go would be crazy, maybe a chance of a lifetime...:)
vwgolf Posted October 8, 2009 #5 Share Posted October 8, 2009 We are thinking of the Christmas Red Sea cruise; there are still places left and it seems reasonably priced. Never been away over Christmas so I'm not sure what to expect. We will probably take our teenage children but am a bit worried it will be an "old person's" crusie! vwgolf Posted October 8, 2009 #7 Share Posted October 8, 2009 Apologies if that came out the wrong way :o! What I meant to say was are there likely to be many teenagers on the cruise?
