Good lunch restaurant in PV

realproperty

Recommended Posts

We are going bike riding in the morning and looking for a good quality Mexican restaurant for lunch in either PV or Marina Vallarta. We are interested in good food, not in a bar and not fast food. Expense is not a primary concern, good quality food, perhaps with some atmosphere is what we are looking for. Any helpful suggestions.

Not sure if they are open for lunch, but try Barcelona Tapas. They are downtown, kind of on a back street, but worth finding. They only serve appetizer type food, suggest you get two or three different dishes per person, and have a wonderful view of Banderas Bay. Make sure you climb the stairs all the way to the top and sit up there.

Is one of my favorites as well, but they open at 5:30 PM until 11:00 PM.

It is on 31 de Octubre, 2 and a half blocks up the hill on the left from the McDonald's on the Malecon.

Try Pipi's for lunch, and then walk around the Malecon.

Another great places is Vitae which just opened behind Hooter's (Malecon, by the arches about a block or two down on the ocean side-parking lot)

The owners are the same guys who own the famous Trio restaurant here....very cool little oceanside Bistro, great decor and good food.
