Last-Minute Passenger Change?

I know I could call Celebrity but I enjoy the CC replies so much more. If my S.O. is unable to make the trip, how soon before departure can I make a passenger change? He is looking at a new job and may not be able to go.:(

Hi,

 

I've no personal experience with attempting to do this, but posed the same question to our TA a couple years ago.

 

According to her [at that time] the limit on changes/bookings is 72 hours prior to sailing.

 

I'm sure if this isn't accurate others will correct me.

We made a change after final payment but about 35 days. The TA charged us $50 to make the change, no other issues. That was last year on another cruise line.

From Celebrity Cruises FAQ:

 

"Can I make changes to a guest listed on my reservation?

 

Name changes can be made to all but one original guest on a reservation except when:

 

1. The reservation has been paid in full
   
2. Air arrangements have been confirmed
   
3. Departure date is less than thirty-five (35) days away."
