ken85121 Posted October 5, 2009 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2009 I was looking at pictures of cabins in another thread and noticed a lot of stuff taking up valuable real estate on the desk/counter thing. Coffee maker, ice bucket, mirror etc. Can you ask that they be removed from your room to give you more space? Thanks. :)

LJH1 Posted October 5, 2009 #3 Share Posted October 5, 2009 We always find space to move things away to such as the top shelf over the fridge area we empty the bar into and the coffeeemaker we also put on a top shelf.

This is what we do also. Plenty of space up there. LJH1 come join our roll call. It a small one at this time. :) Joyce
ruffs Posted October 5, 2009 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2009 I'm sure you can move things around a bit, but I believe many people here will recommend that your have the room steward remove the contents of the mini-bar so that you are not inadvertantly charged for anything. I'm sure you can always ask them to remove anything else as as well.
Dr. Jack Daniels Posted October 5, 2009 #6 Share Posted October 5, 2009 I hope my wife does not see this thread. It may give her an idea to have the steward remove another thing that takes up space in the cabin.........me!!!!!!!.
pixiedustdawn Posted October 5, 2009 #7 Share Posted October 5, 2009 I ask them to take out everything we don't use or need. I even get rid of the coverlet that is on the bed.
Rare ohioNCLcruiser Posted October 5, 2009 #8 Share Posted October 5, 2009 Coffee maker, ice bucket, mirror etc. They won't be removing the mirror!
jollycruise Posted October 5, 2009 #9 Share Posted October 5, 2009 I do the same thing. I move everything we don't need to the top shelf above the cabin safe. The mirror included, you know the irritating one that has 500x magnification ;) so you can see every flaw in your face. Actually looking in one of those gives me more motion sickness than the ship! trojangirl90066 Posted October 5, 2009 #10 Share Posted October 5, 2009 I've even read that some couples ask to have 2 of the dining table chairs removed
pixiedustdawn Posted October 5, 2009 #11 Share Posted October 5, 2009 I've even read that some couples ask to have 2 of the dining table chairs removed I have actually thought about doing that while staying in the AD suites. Those chair legs stick out so far, I kept tripping over the legs.
sourpatch326 Posted October 5, 2009 #12 Share Posted October 5, 2009 we usually leave post it's on the mirror for stuff we want the room stewards to do...in case we don't see them to tell them ourselves. we had them remove all the contents from the fridge so we can put our soda's and water inside.
