18 yr old what to do?

Our newly appointed 18yr old son will be cruising on Valor Dec 13. He will have turned 18 on Nov 03 so he is a very young 18. What happens on the ship for this age? Our other children are 15 and 16 so our 18 yr old really wants to hang with them, however he also doesn't want to overlook the others his age on the ship. Our question is...what is the procedure for teen club on the Valor? Do we sign him up in the teen club and then he misses the opportunity to be with teens his age? Our understanding is that he will not be allowed in the bars, dance floor, or casino, so where does he go at this age? Can anyone help us? Please let us know what would help him to have a good time. If we sign him up for the teen club does that ruin any chances for other fun opportunities on the ship.

Thanks for your insight, we really want this to be a good vacation for him.

18 seems like a tough age for cruising. IMO they should drop the age requirements to 18 for everything onboard. If they are old enough to die for our country and choose a president, I think they are old enough to hit the clubs and have a drink. Gotta love the gov'ts hypocrisy at work  (Yes, I know the majority of cruiselines are registered outside the U.S., just generalizing here)

He is allowed to do absolutely everything except drink alcohol and go into the teen club. Dance Club, casino, adult comedy...... he is allowed in everywhere.

He'll have a great time!
