elliotterae Posted February 13, 2016 #26 Share Posted February 13, 2016 I have violent sleepers, one 11 and one 13 , they burg fall out of bed...our perhaps lurch out if bed, at least once a month or so. Crazy but, I'm not sure those little rails are going to cut it.
GeekSquad4 Posted February 19, 2016 #27 Share Posted February 19, 2016 I have violent sleepers, one 11 and one 13 , they burg fall out of bed...our perhaps lurch out if bed, at least once a month or so. Crazy but, I'm not sure those little rails are going to cut it. A PP suggested placing one of those pool noodles under the bedsheet on the rail side. Sounds like a great idea. I might have to try it on our cruise. DS is 7 and flops around in his bed like a fish, and of course will be the first one to ask to sleep on the top bunk. DD isn't much better and will also be 11 come cruise time. HTH! :)
woostercruise Posted February 23, 2016 #28 Share Posted February 23, 2016 We sailed on Carnival quite a few years ago now, and we took a couple trays (thanks to seeing the tip here) from the buffet to fill in areas that the rail didn't cover. I don't know if Carnival still has trays at the buffet, and neither Royal Caribbean cruise we went on had trays, but it worked well at the time.
