Victory time vs. ship time in Jan?

We'll be on the Carnival Victory for our Southern Caribbean cruise in Jan. Coming from Canada, we observe daylight savings time, but it looks like none of the islands we'll be visiting do? Correct?

It looks like all the islands, including Puerto Rico where we start/end, are on the same time zone.

So will we be on the same time (Puerto Rico time) through the whole cruise? We need to know for private excursions. TIA.

Yes, all the islands you visit are in the same time zone which is eastern. San Juan and the islands are in the same time zone as Florida

All of the islands are in the Atlantic time zone, one hour ahead of Florida. The previous poster may be confused because the islands do not observe daylight saving time so during the summer months they are on the same time as Florida.

YST347, you may be right. We were on the Victory last week and everyone was on the same time zone. If the islands do not change for daylight savings time then part of the year we will be the same and part of the year we will be different.

But do we care what time it is in Florida if the ship leaves out of San Juan? Won't the ship be on San Juan time? ...which will match all the islands we go to and therefore all good? I'm thinking this... hoping this... but looking for a confirmation that this makes sense... being new and all.
